Taipei 101 formerly known as Taipei world financial center, was the worlds tallest from 2004 to 2010. It surpassed the Petronas Towers in 2004. Construction began in 1999, it was topped out in 2003. With a height of 508 meters, it is among the worlds tallest buildings. Many buildings, such as the Nina Tower 1994, Kowloon Station Phase 7 Building and others, where cancelled due to many reasons.
